Colin HayColin James Hay

Born in June 29th, 1953, in Saltcoats, Scotland, his parents names are James and Isabel. He has a brother named Dereck and a sister Carol.

When he was 14 his family moved to Melbourne, Australia, where he met Greg Ham, Ron Strykert and others who he was going to form the band Men at Work.

He was the composer and lead singer for Men at Work, also base guitar, and with it he received and still receive a couple of prizes.

Colin HayIn 1987 he started his own solo career after Men at Work's over. He also acted in small australian productions and was guest in another artists albuns. Formed a new band at the 80's end named Colin Hay Band. He moved to USA.

In 1994 he created his own musical label, Lazy Eye Records America Inc., recording at his studio, downstairs his house in Topanga, California.

He joined Greg Ham in 1996 for the return of Men at Work, and they toured the South America, after Cental and North. He's a kind of godfather for the pop/rock band named Lazlo Bane, it's lead singer, Chad Fischer, tour sometimes with Colin playing the drumms.

Colin is now in love with the latin-singer/composer/dancer Cecilia Noël, she does backing vocals at Colin's concerts, and he does some guest appearences at her's. They also composed a song together.
